Craft Hope for Haiti...

Monday morning 1.25 UPDATE

Here's the link to the little baby urban amish we donated to Craft Hope--http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=39238058

It’s been a week since the devastating earthquake struck Haiti—one week in hell for people already struggling to survive.  We’ve seen the pictures.  We’ve heard their cries for help. Some of us have already donated money to relief efforts—but there’s more we can do.

Craft Hope is an online community of crafters who donate their time and talents to making things that they then share with those less fortunate.

In response to last week’s earthquake, they’ve launched a Craft Hope for Haiti shop on Etsy, where they’re bringing crafters and buyers together under one (virtual) tent.  Items are being donated by crafters from around the world—with ALL of the proceeds going directly to Doctors Without Borders.

I’ve donated a baby urban amish quilt I made.  They tell me it should post in the next 24 to 48 hours.  I’ll update the link as soon as I can.  In the meantime, there’s lots of other really great stuff posted to the site.  Log on and shop for the cause.

If you have something you want to donate, do it fast.  Donations closed tonight 1/20/2010!
