Yes we do! We’ve done a variety of custom memory quilts from T-shirt quilts to baby, wedding and photo projects. We’re happy to consult with you on your special project. Please call or email us to set up an appointment.
T-Shirt Quilts—
No boring t-shirt quilts for us!
Typically shirts are cut in large 12" or 15" square blocks and then sewn together side-by-side.
Not very creative!
We like to design some fun patchwork into our projects and often use solid colored fabrics for the sashing and borders. The result--our quilts have a fresh modern and sophisticated look and feel.
T-Shirts are stablized with fusible interfacing and then fussy cut (that’s quilter’s slang for cropping the image) and stacked in rows with patchwork sashing inbetween. Base prices include fabric and materials for the quilt borders, backing and binding, batting and thread. Special requests may incur additional charges.
T-Shirt Quilt base prices:
48” x 60 –throw: $450
60” x 72”—full: $600
72” x 84—queen: $750
Memory quilt pricing—
The design plan for memory quilts is customized to showcase the pieces you’re looking to incorporate in the quilt top. We’re happy to meet with you, see what you’ve got and give you some ideas as to how you can incorporate these pieces into a quilt. After meeting with you, we can draft a custom quilt pattern for you so that you can visualize the finished quilt. Additional fabric is often needed and charged per the yardage used.
Drafting custom quilt patterns for these pieces is $50—which will be applied toward the cost of the finished quilt.
40” x 50”—wall hanging: $600
48” x 60”—throw: $800
60” x 72”—full size: $1300
72” x 84”—queen topper: $1800
Custom quilts require a 50% deposit with the balance due when the quilt is finished.
